GDB Front-end Commands

SYStem.CPU Select target CPU

Selects the processor type.

SYStem.Mode Establish communication to debug agent

Default: Down

If you switch from Up to Down:

• The processes currently debugged are killed and the connection is cut. If extended mode is

disabled, the gdbserver is also terminated, otherwise, the gdbserver waits for a new

connection.

Format: SYStem.CPU <type>

Format: SYStem.Mode <mode>

<mode>: Down

Attach

Down TRACE32 has no connection to gdbserver.

Attach TRACE32 establishes the connection to gdbserver.

Up TRACE32 is connected to gdbserver.

(Don´t use Up to establish the connection!)
